We have already heard a number of rumors about Apple’s new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus and now according to a recent report, the handsets will come with a new 3D sensing front camera.

The news comes in report from KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who has revealed that the camera system will be powered by PrimeSense algorithms, a company Apple purchased back in 2013.

The new camera will apparently be able to find the location and depth of objects that are placed in front of it and it will also be capable of both iris and facial recognition.

The new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are expected to get a complete redesign over the current models, they will come with a stainless steel frame and a glass back.

There will apparently be three handsets, a 4.7 inch iPhone 8 and two 5.5 inch iPhone 8 Plus handsets, one with an OLED display.

We are expecting Apple to announce their new iPhone in September, they will come with iOS 11 which will be made official at WWDC.
